The Cisco Aironet AIR-MP21G-A-K9 is a 802.11g upgrade radio for the Cisco 1100 and 1200 series access points. The AIR-MP21G-A-K9 allows customers to take advantage of the new 802.11g technology, with its higher 54-Mbps throughput and its 802.11b backward capability, while continuing to use their existing Cisco Aironet WLAN infrastructures.

The AIR-MP21G-A-K9 has the following features:

- Supports IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g network standards
- Mini-PCI type connector for use in all Cisco 1100 and 1200 Access Points
