The Cisco 3500 Series Access Points are a 802.11n standard AP, with CleanAir technology which enables the AP to do automatic interference mitigation for better reliability and performance. Various models are available, allowing the customer to optimize both affordability and functionality.

All models have the following features:
- Standard 802.11n radio(s)
- Integrated custom ASIC for spectrum analysis
- Standard 802.3af Power over Ethernet
- 2x3 MIMO with 2 spatial streams
- 10/100/1000BASE-T autosensing RJ45 interface
- 128MB DRAM, 32MB Flash
